CUSTOM RODS


So, this is where you are supposed to be able to place an order for a custom rod. But I am a rod smith, not a computer guru; in fact my kids love my nick name of Queen of Yestertech. So when I was getting the information to my webgoddess, I didn’t think through all the stuff I needed to make pictures of. I mean, I want you to be able to choose what guides you want, what thread color, what kind of grips and I’m not providing pictures!?!? What was I thinking? Never fear, my kids have pointed out the error of my ways and I am madly taking pictures and writing descriptions. So bear with me as I drag my 19th century mind set into the computer age. In the mean time, you can always give us a call or email and we can talk your dream rod out.

Every angler has preferences for their rods. Large manufacturers cannot provide for the individual preferences the way we can. Because each rod we build is made start to finish one by one, we can tailor its construction to the request of the angler. Do you like a good solid grip that’s oversize for your fly rod? We can do that. Do you want a fiberglass rod? We can do that. Do you want different guides then those that are standard for the weight or action of the rod? We can do that. Whatever you want to make the rod your dream, we can do it!

In this section are photos of some of our past custom builds. There will also be photos of component choices and information about those choices.
